Kosciuszko Hike April 2021
On the 16th to 18th April, Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Leaders and Parents took to the Snowy Mountains to take part in a 16.3 km hike that started with a chairlift ride at Thredbo followed by a trek over the top of Kosciuszko and finishing roughly 6 hours later in Charlottes Pass. Tired and sore participants gratefully collapsed back at the Scouts Alpine Activity Centre at Jindabyne where the young revived in minutes, the adults a tad longer. The weather was crystal clear, sunny with the evenings cold, but thankfully toasty warm in the S.A.A.C.
